| Nitronic 50 Pipes & Tubes (UNS S20910) are austenitic stainless steels with ~20% chromium, 11.5% nickel, 4.5% manganese, and 0.2% nitrogen, engineered for high strength and corrosion resistance. Their nitrogen-alloyed structure delivers tensile strength ≥965 MPa (in the solution-annealed state) while resisting pitting/crevice corrosion in chloride environments (up to 3000 ppm Cl⁻). Ideal for marine hardware, oil & gas pipelines, and chemical processing equipment, these pipes/tubes comply with ASTM A240/A479 and offer superior abrasion resistance compared to standard 316 stainless steel, enduring high-velocity fluids and mechanical stress. |
