| Monel 400 Pipes & Tubes are nickel-copper alloys (UNS N04400) celebrated for exceptional corrosion resistance in seawater, hydrofluoric acid, and alkaline media. With ~67% nickel and 28% copper, they resist pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking (SCC) in chloride environments, maintaining tensile strength ≥485 MPa and elongation ≥35% in the annealed condition. Compliant with ASTM B165/B564, these pipes/tubes excel in marine hardware, brine handling systems, and chemical processing equipment, outperforming stainless steels in high-velocity seawater and acidic applications. |
