Inconel 617 Pipes & Tubes are nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloys (UNS N06617) designed for extreme high-temperature performance and corrosion resistance. With a composition of ~52% nickel, 22% chromium, 12% cobalt, 9% molybdenum, and trace lanthanum, they withstand continuous service up to 1200°C while resisting oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation. Their microstructure ensures tensile strength ≥760 MPa and exceptional creep-rupture properties, making them critical in gas turbine combustors, nuclear reactor components, and hydrogen processing systems. Compliant with ASTM B167/B622, these pipes/tubes offer excellent weldability (suitable for TIG/MIG) and maintain ductility in cyclic thermal conditions. They outperform standard superalloys in applications requiring resistance to thermal fatigue and high-temperature degradation, such as industrial furnace hardware and aerospace engine parts. |
