| Inconel 601 Pipes & Tubes are nickel-chromium alloys (UNS N06601) engineered for superior high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion durability. With ~60% nickel, 23% chromium, and iron additions, they form a dense Cr₂O₃ protective oxide layer, enabling continuous service up to 1200°C. Their composition resists carburization, sulfidation, and chloride-induced stress corrosion, making them ideal for furnace components, heat treatment equipment, and chemical processing systems. Boasting tensile strength ≥650 MPa and excellent creep resistance, these pipes/tubes comply with ASTM B167/B622 and demonstrate robust weldability and formability. They excel in applications like industrial furnace liners, exhaust systems, and heat exchangers where extreme temperature and corrosive atmospheres challenge standard alloys. |
