| Haynes 188 Pipes & Tubes are cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloys (UNS R30188) engineered for high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. With ~22% chromium, 14% tungsten, and balanced cobalt-nickel matrix, they withstand continuous service up to 1200°C while resisting carburization and sulfidation in harsh environments. Boasting tensile strength ≥793 MPa and excellent creep rupture properties, these pipes/tubes excel in aerospace components (e.g., afterburner liners), industrial furnace systems, and high-temperature gas turbines. Compliant with ASTM B619/B622, they feature good ductility and weldability, maintaining structural integrity in cyclic thermal conditions and outperforming nickel-based alloys in applications requiring extreme temperature durability. |
