This grade is specifically engineered for structural applications requiring higher mechanical properties without compromising weldability or corrosion performance, particularly in marine environments, chemical processing equipment, and pressure vessels where increased strength and resistance to pitting/crevice corrosion in chloride-bearing media are essential. The nitrogen-enhanced composition provides improved resistance to deformation and stress corrosion cracking while retaining excellent toughness for demanding industrial applications.
