ASTM/ASME 309H Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes are high-carbon (0.04-0.10%) austenitic alloy (UNS S30909) products manufactured to ASTM A213/A312 standards, designed specifically for superior creep strength and oxidation resistance in extreme temperature service up to 1150°C (2100°F). With elevated chromium (22-24%) and nickel (12-15%) content, this grade maintains exceptional resistance to sulfidation, carburization, and thermal cycling while its controlled carbon content enhances structural stability for furnace parts, heat treatment fixtures, and refinery components subjected to prolonged high-temperature exposure. The H-grade variant delivers improved high-temperature mechanical properties compared to standard 309/309S, making it particularly suitable for pressure-bearing applications in petrochemical processing, power generation, and industrial heating systems where both thermal durability and load-bearing capacity are critical.
