ASTM/ASME 304LN Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes are low-carbon, nitrogen-enhanced austenitic (UNS S30453) products manufactured to ASTM A312/A213/A269 standards, combining ≤0.03% carbon content with 0.10-0.16% nitrogen for optimal intergranular corrosion resistance and improved mechanical strength. This dual-enhanced composition provides approximately 20-30% higher yield strength than standard 304L while maintaining excellent weldability and superior resistance to sensitization, making it particularly suitable for heavy-gauge welded components in cryogenic applications, chemical processing equipment, and pressure vessels operating in corrosive environments. The material's balanced composition (18% Cr, 8% Ni, N-added) delivers enhanced structural performance without compromising its exceptional formability or corrosion resistance characteristics.
