ASTM/ASME 304L Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes are low-carbon (UNS S30403) austenitic grade products conforming to ASTM A312/A213/A269 standards, featuring ≤0.03% carbon content to prevent carbide precipitation and ensure superior intergranular corrosion resistance, while maintaining the excellent mechanical properties, weldability and corrosion resistance (18% Cr, 8% Ni) of standard 304 grade, making them particularly suitable for welded components in chemical processing, petrochemical, and high-purity applications where post-weld heat treatment is not feasible.
