ASTM/ASME 304H Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes are high-carbon (UNS S30409) austenitic products manufactured to ASTM A213/A312 standards, featuring controlled carbon content (0.04-0.10%) for enhanced high-temperature strength and creep resistance while maintaining the base 304 composition (18% Cr, 8% Ni). These pipes and tubes are specifically designed for sustained service in elevated temperature applications (up to 815°C/1500°F) in power generation, heat treatment furnaces, and refinery equipment, with their higher carbon content promoting superior structural stability under thermal cycling conditions compared to standard 304/L grades.
