ASTM/ASME 201L Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes are low-carbon austenitic (UNS S20103) products compliant with ASTM A213/A269/A312 standards, offering improved weldability and intergranular corrosion resistance with ≤0.03% carbon content, suitable for heat exchangers, food processing and structural applications up to 870°C, providing a cost-effective alternative to 304L while maintaining balanced Cr-Ni-Mn composition, though not recommended for highly corrosive environments due to reduced nickel content compared to 300-series grades.
